THE PERFECT FORM
Tetsuo Kawaguchi was once a promising young basketball player, but a tragic past left him emotionally numb, unable to feel joy, pain, or even the passion he once held for the game.
After passing the entrance exams, he enrolls at Toshigawa Academy, indifferent to the world around him. Yet when he picks up a basketball again during a gym session, something stirs within him—a sensation he believed was long gone.
Through encounters with others who share his love for the sport, and the quiet persistence of his younger sister, Tetsuo is slowly drawn back toward basketball. Reluctantly, he joins the school’s team—not simply to play, but to confront the memories he has spent years avoiding.
As he pushes himself on the court, the emotional walls he built begin to crack. But healing is neither quick nor easy, and the weight of his past threatens to pull him backward. With every game, every setback, and every bond he forms, Tetsuo inches closer to rediscovering what it means to feel again.
