Off Route: Please Mind the Gap - Series 1| Episode 0: "The Pilot"

Centuries ago, mankind had invented the first simple machines, and then that led to the 18th century, the beginning of the industrial revolution, which resulted in the massive economic spike across various continents, its ripple effects seeping their way across continents with a sizable population.
Then a century later, 2 decades into the 19th century, something terrible happened to a certain town on the outskirts of an expanding cityscape, leaving behind a sinkhole resting on a semi-dormant mass of flesh.
With no survivors found, the last descendants of the Town’s Mayor with crazy ambitions reopened the town as a tourist attraction, which became rather infamous; however, this tourist attraction would have gotten into the press papers of a belgian Scientist & Inventor.
And with this sparking their interest, would have commenced a series of experiments conducted behind closed doors, and with the Belgian Government were tight on collecting documents about these experiments, and the property demolished, has lead to the events of Off Route in-general, and the invention of “Sentientation”.
Sentientation itself, the process would have created the first life, in machine form, specifically in vehicles.
