Astral Dungeon Journey

Nevermore101
Layfon Mathews is an orphan with a bleak outlook on his prospective future. Wanting to be able to make something of himself, to be able to take pride in himself, he sets his sights on adventuring through the Astral Plane. It is there he hopes to be able to gain fame and fortune. Afterall: ‘All is possible with the Astral!’ *IMPORTANT TO KNOW* This story is more of an original work, but I take inspiration and characters and possible plot ideas from various anime with each faction drawing from a different one. I’m including those series in the tags to help get attention because I think original works don’t get as much as state fanfics. So this is between a fanfic and an original work. Overall, this story contains RPG elements, factions, dungeons, etc. The faction we start with and antagonists will be taken from Code Geass. As we get involved in other factions, more will be added. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX If you like what I do and want to support me, I have both a ko-fi and Patreon account. No paywalls, just something for people to help support a guy that likes writing. Can also be used to make requests for a particular story or that I devote more of my time to a specific story. They’re pretty barebones right now; so, advice and tips would be appreciated. “https://ko-fi.com/nevermore101” “https://patreon.com/Nevermore101” Donations can lead toward changing my stories specifically how you want. But the main idea I had for this was to get a better idea of what people want from me. I have a lot of story ideas and right now I main the ones that seem the most popular - i.e. what gets the highest attendance during live. I only have so much time I can work on stuff, this seemed like a good way to get more feedback. I’m also on other sites. While I cross-post most of my work, feel free to check them out in their original setting over on Archive of Our Own and fiction.live. Surviving in the Demon Academy as My Novel's Final Antagonist

I just finished writing the last chapter of my novel, [Powering Through the Prestigious Academy With No Talent], where the final villain was defeated by the protagonist. This novel that I designed meticulously from head to toe...was now done. The protagonist shakily pointed his cold blade at the villain's neck, "Any last words?" The villain wasn't fazed, despite nearing his death, and smiled widely, as if mocking the protagonist, "No, nothing." "Just kill me." "...Very well.", and with one slash, the villain was killed. In the end, such an outcome was inevitable, no matter how powerful the villain became. And that was the ultimate satisfaction for any avid reader. But the next moment, I suffered an excruciating headache, and collapsed before I was able to upload the last chapter. Unexpectedly, when I woke up and opened my eyes, I wasn't in a hospital, nor my room, but a cemetery. I felt around my clothes that were getting drenched in the rain, and saw my dashingly red hair in a puddle nearby. My face was now completely different from before; my mouth naturally tugged upwards, and my eyes became slits as if they were sewn shut. Unmistakably, I recognized this appearance, which I had envisioned countless times. No, wait, why do I look like that guy? Where is my computer? My phone? Eventually, I realized--I'd reincarnated as the final villain in my novel! The ending scene of the villain dying by the protagonist's hands flashed through my eyes, and I remembered the words I said right after I wrote it. It's inevitable. "...I'm screwed."
