I've Become a Dimensional Tailor

Forty years have passed since the Great Outbreak, when the veil between worlds tore open and unleashed nightmares upon the Earth. Cities collapsed. Lands withered. Humanity stood on the edge of extinction until the Awakened appeared. Mori Relotto was an 'Awakened', but not in the typical sense of awakened standards. He didn't receive any powerful special abilities or have anything worth mentioning. He was a tailor, something that a normal human could do with their own hands. With this in mind, his classmates bullied him relentlessly, branding him as a nobody and treating him no less than dead weight. Mori always wanted to become a strong Awakened and provide for his mother, who lies sick in bed from a virus that arrived from an infected monster. Mori on the other hand was physically weak, even struggling to do menial tasks. On a dark and regular night, a dungeon gate suddenly manifested inside of Mori's home. With no thought, he went inside to find answers and to possibly awaken a second time and become stronger with better abilities. In the end, it was all for nothing. Mori, having no abilities to fight back, vanished into an 8-Star gate. Inside were endless hordes of monsters that even all the Awakened would have trouble taking on. It was going to be another Great Outbreak if these monsters got out.
