Menystria: Gates Of The Fallen

MichaelMoral
Clocks are ticking, and time is running out. They’ve bet everything on a god who can’t even trust himself not to shatter the mug in his own hand. Humanity… long gone, long forgotten. Yet somehow, they came crawling back. He didn’t ask for them. He didn’t want them. But what could he do? He wasn’t even conscious. Everyone thought he was dead—again. And like every other time, he returned stronger, sharper, an uninvited thorn in their side, too helpful to kill, too dangerous to trust. Noah’s tired of him. James is sick of him. Jasper barely noticed he was gone. And the rest? They have better things to grieve than another god’s disappearance. Maybe they just couldn’t stand believing he’d left them behind. But let’s start from the beginning, shall we? From the moment human hubris cracked the sky open, from the lab that caged him, from the crater that birthed a city, and the city that became a curse. This one’s going to be interesting. After all—we have all the time in the world. Time doesn’t move in the void. It bends, it breathes, it forgets. I wonder what Azraem would think if he saw this much peace. Probably burn himself alive just to spite it. — F
