Battle Through the Heavens was my first donghua and also my first novel, and because of that it holds a very special place in my heart. Xiao Yan, his journey, his struggles, and his growth are things no one can truly replace, and I know that the original story is already complete in its own way. Still, as a fan, I often imagined a different path—one where family emotions play a stronger role, where bonds, loss, and protection become as important as power itself. This idea is not meant to change Xiao Yan or deny the original story. Instead, it is a personal re-imagining inspired by my own thoughts and feelings as a reader. I was especially inspired by the fanfic BTTH: Thunder Shattered by Yi Pin Ru Xi Yang Yang. I am not trying to copy it directly, but rather use it as a foundation and modify the story according to my own imagination—focusing on a more powerful background, deeper family relationships, and emotional growth alongside cultivation. I am not a professional writer, and this is not something I am doing for fame or recognition. This story is purely for my own satisfaction and love for BTTH. If anyone has thoughts, ideas, or suggestions, I am open to them, and I will gladly shape the story in a better way.
