He does, in fact, look perturbed. He folds his arms across his chest. Not yet anyway.” I laugh, but Gavin takes it personally and flies up off the couch. “Stop being an asshole, Leo!” I spring to my feet, ready for a fight. It’s been too damn long since I had the chance to punch someone in the face. “Hey, knock it off!” Nico says as he and Theo both get between us. “We need to be calm about this. It’s not like any of us are happy about the situation, but it is what it is.” “That’s right,” Theo continues. “We can’t beat each other up every time someone else sleeps with Liora, or we’ll all be bruised and battered. So calm down.” I keep the grin on my face as Gavin takes a step back and yanks at his hair in frustration. “We shouldn’t be discussing what happens with Liora! This is supposed to be respectful… not a contest.” “But it is a contest,” I remind him. “And I intend to win it.” *** She never wanted to be a breeder.
