Naruto Grind till pays off

Eledern_Ring
At the start of the Third Great Ninja War, Byakuya Senkaku looked at his destiny trait, "Hard Work Pays Off," and secretly made up his mind. "I’m going to stay a Genin in Konoha for the rest of my life. I won’t come out of the shadows until I’ve grinded my way to the Six Paths level." Even though he was a civilian ninja with terrible natural talent, the rule was simple: you get out what you put in. Effort equals results. To survive the meat grinder of the Ninja World War, Byakuya took things one step at a time, keeping his head down and playing it safe whenever possible. But fate loves a good joke. By a strange twist of luck, he ended up becoming an off-the-books contractor for "Root." Surprisingly, Byakuya took to it like a duck to water. His ability to lay low and stay under the radar was honestly breathtaking. Byakuya Kenkaku: "I’ve spent my whole life walking on eggshells. Tell me, do you think I can make it to the finish line?" Danzo Shimura: "Only a ninja as calculated, steady, and averse to the spotlight as you is fit to lead Root and protect the great tree that is Konoha." --- Years later, during the Fourth Great Ninja War. After a thousand years of painstaking plotting, Black Zetsu finally resurrected Kaguya Otsutsuki. Kaguya Otsutsuki: "Ninshu... no, you call it Ninja now, right? I have nothing to say to someone like you who just toys with chakra without understanding its true meaning. This place, this land, is my precious nursery. I won't let it be damaged any further. Let's end this battle." In an instant, Byakuya refined Kaguya Otsutsuki into a puppet. "Where is all this yapping coming from? Enough. I’ve already surpassed the Six Paths. From here on out, I’m taking the lead and creating a new world."

Dragon Age: The Wolf's Awakening

“Everything I’ve done was for them… and now, no one can stop me. No one, except, perhaps… her". For centuries, civilizations have been built upon stories. Some sacred, others forbidden. But every story is a form of power. And every truth, a form of rebellion. This Book 1 speaks of guilt, faith, crushing responsibilities, and the first tremor of a love that does not yet understand the magnitude of what it will one day destroy. It is not rebellion yet; it is the dawn before the tragedy. I am not trying to retell Dragon Age: Inquisition. The explosion of the Conclave is only the starting point that allows me to narrate another story... the intimate origin of a relationship that will change the world. When I began writing this story during the pandemic, I too believed the tale Solas had sold us. But I came to understand it was only one version within a greater fiction. He was, after all, remembered as the god of Lies, Treachery and Rebellion, depending upon the story. This book is the origin of the woman behind the myth, and of love before the fall. It is an elven tragedy, and all I want is to bare the wound. "I'm begging for you to take my hand, wreck my plans...That's my man..." All recognizable characters, settings, names, and lore belong to EA and BioWare. This is a fan work based on the Dragon Age universe. Original characters may appear, but the story remains grounded in the world created by BioWare. I am not affiliated with the copyright holders in any way. No copyright infringement is intended. It took me a long time to find the right tone and turn for this story. This is the third time I write about them, and the first time it truly feels like the story moves forward. Solas is a character who touched something deeply personal in me, a thread of rebellion that runs through my own life. I always felt I owed him a fic. Though perhaps… I owed it to myself. Writing this was beautiful. A personal journey, through and through. This is my little gift to the community, but also, to the apostate I became. “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” Inspirations: All the Dragon Age novels, codex, and games.
