For fifteen long years, he acted as a pack mule, a porter, to gather money to hopefully keep his little sister fed and to pay for his mother's medical bills. Instead of dying, he awakened the ability to "Jump," and the system mis-categorized him and his ability. Marcus became one of the first people to awaken as a System User at 29 years old.
