Klyde Tolan was a soldier. Nothing more, nothing less. No life outside the battlefield, no future beyond the next mission. The only thing that ever mattered to him were the few people who stood beside him in the chaos.
Then he lost them.
Killed in action and pulled from death's door by a deity with little patience and even less sympathy, Klyde is thrown into Aridia — a world of magic, monsters, and civilizations that have never seen anything like him or his armor.
The deal is simple. Conquer Erina, an island so dangerous that even the strongest adventurers don't return from it, within two months. Succeed, and his friends come back. Fail, and face something worse than death.
Armed with a high tech combat suit, a system he didn't ask for, and absolutely nothing else, Klyde does what he's always done.
