Settings; St. Marcellus Oncology Hospital; where Velaria and Dylan first meet as children.   The Williams Mansion; A  wealthy but emotionally cold household where Velaria grows up facing cruelty.   Sterling Heights Academy;An elite school owned by Dylan’s family where their paths cross again years later.   Various locations of the  Martinez family global business.   Exposition  ; Velaria Lopez is a young girl battling Acute leukemia when she meets Dylan Martinez in St. Marcellus Oncology Hospital. Dylan often visits the hospital with his aunt, Dr. Nadia, and there he quickly becomes Velaria’s closest friend.   Despite the fear and pain of treatment, their friendship became a source  comfort and hope to both of them. Dylan gives Velaria a small red gift box filled with memories, and the two children promise to stay in touch and find each other again, no matter what happens.   Meanwhile, Dylan comes from a powerful family business and is being groomed to become the future heir.   Inciting Incident  ; Shortly after Velaria leaves the hospital and starts to rebuild her life, tragedy occurs.   While returning from a medical appointment with her parents, their car is hit by a speeding vehicle. The crash leaves Velaria in a coma for a month.   When she wakes up, she discovers that both her parents have died in the accident.   With no close relatives nearby, Velaria is taken in by her father’s friend, Raymond Williams. However, once she enters the Williams household, her life changes .   Mrs. Williams maltreats and strips her of her name and identity, renaming her Vera Williams, and forces her into a life of slavery and cruelty.   Rising Action  ; As the years go by, Velaria endures emotional abuse and endless chores in the Williams household. She is treated like a burden and constantly reminded that she does not belong there.   Despite the harsh environment, she holds on to the red box Dylan once gave her, the only piece of her past that remains.   Meanwhile, Dylan grows into a confident and influential young man under the strict guidance of his powerful father, the CEO of the Martinez family business.   Over time, the memories of the hospital and the girl named Velaria begin to fade away.   Eventually, Velaria is enrolled in Sterling Heights Academy, an elite school owned by Dylan’s family through scholarship or luck.   Neither of them realizes that fate has brought them back together.   Climax  ; At school, Velaria, now known as Vera, draws unwanted attention due to her poor background In such an elite school.   Dylan, the admired heir of the Martinez empire and Sterling Heights Academy, was kept in cahrge of the “new girl”, Vera . He hated scholarship students as he always sees them as Charity cases.
