Survival story of a realm wanderer

onetouchshoe
At the beginning of time, a large group of powerful beings engaged in a war that shattered the universe. The universe became fragmented and somewhat unstable, but eventually—despite the chaos—everything stabilized and the situation improved. The universe was now split into countless realms with almost no contact between them. Because of this minuscule interaction rate, the realms developed in completely different directions. Some remained similar; others became utterly alien. The inhabitants of many realms do not even know other realms exist beyond their boundaries. The beings that fought in this war have been called by countless names and titles across different eras and epochs. But in the current era, no title fits them better than Gods. Very few beings today know the truth of what really happened in the first epochs. Even among those few, fewer still know the full truth. They know the gods fought a war, but very few know what caused it—and even fewer know what the gods fought against. But one thing remains unknown to all: why the gods mysteriously disappeared. The countless realms were fragmented and separated; ways to travel between them were extremely limited. In the third epoch, one of the most powerful gods noticed this problem and sacrificed their essence to create a gate that could connect the different realms. This gate existed in a place far from any realm, yet at the same time existed within every realm. It was later named “The Myriad Gate.” And this gate is the centerpiece in the story of a boy named Asher Blackwood. The gate was his only blessing and, at the same time, his sole curse. It made him turn ugly while he took a beautiful journey.
