Those chosen to cross into the Godlands can potentially be gifted one of three abilities: A System, Magic, or The Superhuman Gene. The System is the most sought after ability due to its vast potential and ability to greatly improve the user’s powers. However, its powers can only be used within the Distorted Godlands. Mael, a young and blind man who lives in the outskirts of New Haven in Dystopian Texas, is chosen to enter a Breach during the Black Sun Event. He accepts because his younger sisters are sick and those who chose him provide good benefits to the Chosen Breachers and their immediate family. Alongside a few other individuals, Mael is sent through a Breach, ending up in an unknown region of the Distorted Godlands. This region takes place in The Sun and Moon Realm, which houses many different nations that have magic power and divine beings. In Mael’s case, he landed in Kazuha, a land that resembles feudal japan but with several twists. Mael, still blind, makes contact with an unknown entity. This entity grants him vision in exchange for a future payment. not only this, the entity grants him two abilities that complement the “Magic” that Marl obtained during the Breach. All he has to do is conquer many Distorted Creatures in order to tame and control them. In Kazuha’s case, mostly Yokai, Kami, and Honyo. And as part of the pact with the Entity, Mael has to “Tame” many MILFS.
