A normal office intern who was overworked by his seniors died, and yeah, if you heard that you’d think it was because of overwork. That’s what everyone would think. Wrong. Someone else made sure he died. He didn’t even get time to question it properly, and next thing he knows, he wakes up somewhere else. It takes him a bit, but then it hits him—this is the world of a novel he actually liked. Now here’s where it gets worse. He wasn’t reborn as an extra. Wasn’t the hero. No, he became the Demon King. The final boss. The guy who is 100% guaranteed to die at the end. At that point he only had one thought—this is bullshit. Because he knows the story. He knows exactly how he dies. The hero gets stronger, gets the Holy Sword, comes to his castle, big fight, and boom, Demon King dead. End of story. So obviously, he’s not going to just sit there and follow the script like an idiot. If the Holy Sword is the only thing that can kill him, then the solution is simple—get it first and destroy it. No sword, no hero victory. No hero victory, no dead Demon King. Perfect plan. That’s how he ends up enrolling in the academy where the Holy Sword is kept, hiding his identity and acting like a normal student while planning to get rid of the only thing that can kill him. Everything was going fine. Then she showed up. “Will you marry me after I kill the Demon King?” He just stared at her. Because there are many problems here. First, if you kill the Demon King… that’s me. Second, if I’m dead… who are you planning to marry? And third— How the hell did the story even reach this point?
