After Hao'er and the others drew near, they didn't reveal themselves immediately. Instead, they hid partially behind the trees, observing the scene ahead. The large tree was incredibly lush, its branches and leaves spreading like a giant umbrella. Vines grew and twisted around the trunk, with some monkeys clinging to the vines, swinging and leaping between the trees, emitting squeaking sounds.
"Probably less than seventy," Muchen estimated the monkeys. It was indeed a group, but not an overwhelming number.
"Huh? That larger monkey sitting up there actually has others grooming it." Yue'er watched with curiosity as the big monkey sat atop the tree, flanked by two smaller ones crouching beside it.
Hao'er glanced over and whispered, "That one is probably the monkey king. Groups like this usually have a leader."
"Oh."
