Three children, Jinlai, Yinlai, and Tonglai, sat by the pond, humming little tunes and enjoying roasted fish. Life was as carefree as a breeze.
Although they didn't have any salt, it didn't stop the three kids from enjoying their meal.
The roasted fish tasted really good.
Jinlai boasted, "I told you fishing isn't hard. Adults can do it, and so can we kids."
Yinlai chimed in, "Big brother is the best. Other kids can't do it. Can Hutou do it? No way! What about Lijun and Liwei? Nope! They may act cool, but they're just little kids. We're different; we're real men, just like adults."
Tonglai, being the youngest, wasn't good at much but was already skilled at flattery. "Yes, big brother is the best."
"Brother, it's so delicious," Tonglai added.
Jinlai waved his hand confidently. "If we run out, we'll just catch more. Plenty to eat."
As night fell, Yinlai, despite his bravado, looked around nervously. "Brother, it's getting dark. Should we head back? We might miss the bus."
