He went to the door, closing it behind him. "What's so urgent this early in the morning?"
Bai Fendou, wearing a tattered padded jacket, stood at the door and said, "I'm planning to go to the countryside with Yang Lixin. You coming?"
Zhuang Zhixi raised an eyebrow, "Going to the countryside?"
Bai Fendou nodded, visibly excited, and said, "Yang Lixin is going back to his hometown to exchange eggs with relatives. I'm tagging along to get some too. Are you coming?"
Zhuang Zhixi gave him a meaningful look, "You're going too?"
He glanced at Bai Fendou and asked again, "You're going with Yang Lixin?"
He couldn't help but wonder—weren't these two on bad terms?
