"Kaier is gone!" Vay turned his head, anxiously speaking to everyone.
But Dox and the Black Earl remained silent, even his loud calls didn't draw their attention.
Vay wanted to seek Angel's help, but upon looking carefully, he realized not only had Kaier vanished... Angel was missing too.
"Lord Chaowei... Kaier..." Vay's face was full of astonishment as he unconsciously took a few steps back.
"Don't be so surprised, I know they're gone," Dox finally came to his senses and turned to Vay.
Vay still looked puzzled: "How come they disappeared suddenly? What happened?"
Dox: "Nothing much happened, it's just that Kaier seemed to have accidentally stepped into a dog hole and fell in, and Angel saw it and jumped in after him."
Vay: "And then?"
Dox nodded: "That's it, there's no 'and then'.
Vay's suppressed anger seemed to ignite instantly: "And that's called 'nothing'? Tell me, where is there a dog hole nearby?"
