"Prime Dynvar," I called to the woman as I appeared beside her.
The woman seemed surprised that a weapon appeared in her hand, and her aura flared. Ready to deal with any threat that wants to harm her.
Though she remained in that state only for a fraction of a second, before she realized it was me and could see the relief flooding into her eyes.
"Prime Arys," she replied and flashed in front of me, before stopping herself and composing her expression.
"I am glad that you are alive. I had thought you would not! Seeing the powerful corruption bursting out of the lake with its churning," she shuddered as she said it.
"That was a surprise," I replied, and the guilt flashed in her eyes.
"I didn't know it would behave like this. If I had, I wouldn't have let you take such a risk," she said, and I shook my head. "I am here, it's all that matters," I replied.
She looked like she wanted to say something, but seeing my expression, she just nodded.
