"... hmm, it seems, your family spared no expense in teaching you," said Niko with a frown that disappeared the moment Olivia glared at him. This caused him to dispel any suspicion that he had toward the Kurama Family.
"It would seem they didn't," Rin said as he glanced at the trio, as he didn't expect the powerhouses of his school not to be aware of such basic information.
But then again, what Rin thought was basic was something most people never learned, as such information was hard to come by, unless you were either powerful enough to be granted such knowledge or lucky enough to stumble upon it.
Either way, it was above the pay grade of anyone on this planet, besides a select few like Gen, the World Spirit, and the new leader of the Nine Supreme Clans of Japan.
"Well then, since you're aware of such things already, Rin, would you be willing to be the designated leader of Forbidden Blood for Project X? Tasked with the responsibility of not only protecting and safeguarding the lives of your fellow peers but also providing them with guidance in their cultivation and leading them to conquer the training camp," stated Professor Niko as he and the principal as well as the vice president gazed at Rin awaiting his response.
"Um... to be honest, could I de~" Rin was about to say before the president interrupted him.
"Rin, before you decline, listen to what you'll earn if you agree to our request." President Olivia said as she gave the floor to Calvin, who began to list the numerous benefits and opportunities such a position would grant him, if he agreed to be FB's student leader.
"… well, then, when you put it like this, how could I decline. So where do I sign?" asked Rin with a chuckle as Calvin and Olivia just rolled their eyes while Niko just smiled in response.

Meanwhile, as Rin and his professor went over the finer details of Project X, following the absence of Olivia and Calvin, who had left to deal with other matters.
Maze and Ethan finally received the news of Rin's return, after being set free from his imprisonment at Obisidan Vault.
"Hey, Maze, do you think Rin will still remember us?" asked Ethan, as he gazed at Rin's cousin with hope while rubbing his nose.
"Of course, because even if he didn't, all we'd have to do is knock some sense into that thick skull of his," replied Maze with a joyous grin as if she couldn't wait for such a scenario to occur.
"Welp, I guess we can only wait and see," muttered Ethan as he didn't wish for such a thing to happen, especially to one of his good friends.
But while wishes are great... sometimes, reality can be a cruel mistress. Nevertheless, fortunately, something like that won't be happening today.
Whoosh. Flick. Flick.
"Who the fu~!" Ethan and Maze shouted simultaneously as they stood up and gazed at each other before scanning the area around them in search of the person who dared to mess with them.
"So, do ya'll miss me?" Someone said behind them as the duo swiftly turned around and threw a punch, one aimed at his face while the other went toward his midsection.
"WOW! Hold up, guys, is that any way to greet a friend you haven't seen in a while?" asked Rin as he stepped back, dodging the duo's attack while also teleporting a short distance away from them.
"Tsk, some friend you are," spat Ethan with disgust after suffering from Rin's antics, as he completely discarded whatever feelings he held toward Rin's situation.
"Same here, as who goes around scaring their family and friends the moment they return from prison?" Maze said as she shot daggers at Rin, who just acted clueless about what she was talking about, as he just held up his hands in innocence.
"Sigh... come on, guys, I was only testing y'all's spatial awareness," commented Rin as Maze and Ethan rolled their eyes in disbelief at the excuse he found to make his actions seem reasonable.
"Fuck you, Rin. Why don't you go and terrorize another group of teenagers? Why must we always be the ones to suffer from your antics? Is this some sick kink of yours to see your friends on pins and needles at all times?" shouted Ethan in a questioning voice as he made the entire bottom floor of the library quiet.
Wherein not even a whisper or a fly flying by could be heard throughout the floor as everyone cracked their neck to see what was going on.
"... dang, I never knew you guys felt that way," said Rin as he took a moment to reflect on his actions before and after his time in jail.
"Rin, I never~."
"Relax, Ethan, you're right, I have been a horrible friend and cousin to you two. So to make up for all the hell I've caused you guys, I'll be entering seclusion for some time to grow stronger and be a better teammate to you two. So that when the training camp begins, I won't be dead weight... and with that, I'll see you two in a week." Rin stated, leaving Ethan and Maze flabbergasted as he disappeared and entered seclusion under the gaze of the entire library.
