Jack got all the information about their past. It can be considered as most tragic. They were once a group of orphanage , their father who was a best swordsman at his prime raised them.
Since they want to go out to sea, their father took them from place to place. Once they arrived at Sabaody Archipelago where their misfortune started.
Adine was a child, so crossed path with a world noble. World noble got furious as Adine didn't kneel before him. He shot a bullet but their father stopped it and apologised for his actions.
He didn't let them leave as they hurt his pride. He ordered his subordinates to turn them into slaves. Now their father got angry and killed his subordinates. He sliced Noble hand which hold gun.
Noble used buster call to teach them a lesson. At that the admiral who came was Z. A fight broke out between them which destroyed everything within that region.
After intense battle Z was able to capture him. Before the fight their father told them to run away. But the noble who saw all 5 ; demanded to capture them ; he even put a bounty on them.
As they were children at that time they were caught by bounty hunters. He turned them into slaves. The most brutal thing was the noble tortured him in front of them and rot him to death.
Jack saw their faces gloomy and Adine face was filled with tears as he explained. " Then did you get revenge ? ", Jack asked them.
" We killed him and escaped with Fisher Tiger", fang answer him. Jack got another information. It seem they escaped with fisher tiger. " The one who set fire in Mary Geoise ", Adine nods.
" What will you do if you are free ? ", everyone was astonished by Jack question. " We will kill your teacher ", fang. " He is our last enemy ", nina.
" You can't do that , he also got his family killed by pirates now he is also like you. I don't think teacher will capture you at that time. If you agree to it, I may release you ", everyone stayed silent as they heard Jack answer.
" It is better than to become a slave again. Make your choice ", Jack suggested them. Fang agreed but others denied it.
Jack smiled and removed his cuffs. " We won't have a future staying like this , remember father words ", Fang said.
Everyone agreed. Jack went out to give them their weapons. " I don't think you just did it because of our past ", Flinch who was silent all the time asked him.
" I want to have some connections with underworld. You are perfect for me ", Jack told his reason. After defeating Adine , he started his investigation on them.
Everyone who turned evil will have a tragic past. But Jack was impressed that they were able to keep their morale after it. They did all kinds of deals except slave trading.
Fang thought for a while and gave him a small piece of paper. " You can come to us anytime and Flinch give him that item ", Fang ; " But, it was for Adine ", Flinch said. " We can get another one ", Fang said casually.
Flinch took a card out and removed his power. Jack got surprised to see it. It is a devil fruit in black colour and yellow twirls. " Its a zoan type. I don't know further details ", Fang went out.
" We may see you again ", Adine said. After 2 encounters with Jack he somewhat liked his character. Jack got into his room silently.

" The captives escaped ", one recruit told Jack in a hurry. " Teacher is calling us all ", he said as he breathed hard.
Every recruit arrived at Z's office. All are whispering to each other about this. " Silent, you all heard it. What were you two doing at that time ? ", Z asked the two recruits who were supposed to watch them.
" We fainted ", one answered as other nods. Z sighs hearing, " All of you are dismissed. Jack stay here ". Recruits follow his order as Jack stayed behind.
" I know it was your doing, why did you do it ?", Z was furious this time as he not allows this type of behaviour. Jack told him their story without the last part.
" You made a deal with them. Is this how an officer behaves ? ", Z roared at him. " Teacher , I did it for you. You followed navy conduct but got your family killed. Now they came here to show you the same despair as you think this as your second family ", Jack explained.
Z made pained expression as he heard about his family. He quit his job due to it. " How were they able to find us ? ", Z asked him.
" Everyone in Marineford know that we will go to a group mission every 6 months. It seem they bribed some officer for information ", Z break his table hearing it. " Even if we took action it may occur again ".
" What do you mean ? ", Z frowned at last part. " Teacher now marines are not like in past, some are now corrupted , while some want to save their own life or their family. They will tell all the details they know about us ", Jack explained him.
Hearing it Z sat on his chair and gestured him to go. Jack smiled at his state. Mow he planted a seed of doubt inside Z for him to lose trust on marines. Jack want him to join dragon as he is a valuable asset.
