Yu Qi and Feng Yue went into a nearby restaurant for lunch. They chose a table that was slightly hidden from the crowd. They did not want to be disturbed again by those crazy girls.
"Who are they?" Yu Qi finally asked, her hand casually playing with the straw in her drink.
"My ex-classmates." Feng Yue replied with a sigh. "Those girls have always been like that. They love picking fights with me. Just a group of arrogant girls. They think they can do whatever they want just because of their parents."
"Do you have any plans after lunch?" Yu Qi asked, deliberately changing the topic and closing that unpleasant discussion.
"No. Why? Do you want to go somewhere?" Feng Yue looked at her curiously.
"Yes. I need some money. Do you know where the nearest bank is?" Yu Qi asked.
"Yes, it's just around the corner. I can bring you there after this. But why? Do you want to buy something?" Feng Yue asked again, feeling curious.
"Yes, I want to buy something. But let's eat first." Yu Qi replied as she noticed the waiter approaching with their food.
After finishing a pleasant lunch, the two of them headed toward the nearest bank. They arrived after walking for about fifteen minutes. There were only a few people inside, so Yu Qi assumed that the withdrawal process would be faster than expected.
She took a queue number and waited patiently for a while. Soon, her number was called. She walked to the counter and completed her transaction smoothly. After everything was settled, she returned to Feng Yue, who had been waiting for her.
"Yue, I want to go to the ladies' room first. Wait for me for a moment." Yu Qi said.
"Okay." Feng Yue replied.
Yu Qi approached a bank officer and asked for directions to the restroom. After receiving clear directions, she headed there. About fifteen minutes later, she walked back toward where Feng Yue was waiting.
'Something was weird.'
Yu Qi suddenly noticed the iron shutters moving down, slowly covering the main entrance of the bank.
"Don't do anything stupid! I will shoot if anyone dares to move!" A loud shout from several men immediately put Yu Qi on high alert.
She quickly scanned her surroundings. She saw three men dressed entirely in black, their faces covered with black masks. Each of them was holding a gun.
'Beretta M800, Cougar Type F. Each magazine holds 15+1 rounds. Barrel length 180 mm. Equipped with a standby function. The information flashed through her mind as she observed the weapon.
'Bo Ya, are you there?' Yu Qi called out inwardly.
'Yes, Master. I'm here,' Bo Ya's sweet voice responded instantly.
'I want to ask you something. Can I take a gun out from my space?' Yu Qi asked.
'Technically, yes. But Master, it might cause problems later.' Bo Ya replied.
'What's the problem?' Yu Qi asked.
'Master, the authorities might question you about the gun. How will you explain it? You cannot reveal the existence of your space.' Bo Ya stated.
'Oh… yeah. I did not think about that.' Yu Qi nodded.
'If you want to handle this situation, find the nearest robber, knock him out, and take his gun.' Bo Ya suggested an idea.
'Hmmm…' Yu Qi nodded.
Bang! The sound of a gunshot echoed sharply across the bank.
"Dare to play tricks in front of me? That's what you get! Hurry up! Put the money into the bag!" One of the robbers shouted harshly.
They had already shot someone. It seemed that the victim was the bank manager.
Yu Qi knew she had to act. She noticed one of the robbers moving closer and stopping near her hiding spot. She recalled what her martial arts instructor had taught her: strike the neck with strong, precise force to knock someone unconscious. Quick. Clean. Effective.
Yu Qi took a deep breath. Concentrate. Have to find the opportunity. At that moment, she saw the two other men turn their backs on the man that she was trying to target. She quickly took action. The man fell to the ground. Fortunately, there were tables that covered Yu Qi. She quickly hid.

The man collapsed instantly. Luckily, nearby tables helped conceal her movement. Yu Qi immediately hid again.
Hearing the noise, the other two robbers turned toward their companion. When they saw he was no longer standing, they began firing randomly toward the area where he had last been.
Yu Qi seized the opportunity and grabbed the gun. Slowly, she stood up and aimed carefully at one robber's wrist. She pulled the trigger.
The bullet hit perfectly.
The man screamed in pain.
She quickly shifted her aim toward the second robber, only to realise that he had already been subdued by another man. Soon after, all three robbers were tied up together.
"Call the police and the medics, quickly!" The man who had helped her ordered one of the bank officers.
"Yu Qi!" Feng Yue rushed toward her anxiously.
"Are you okay?" Yu Qi asked Feng Yue back.
"Yes, I'm fine." Feng Yue nodded.
"Wait here. I want to check on the injured man." Yu Qi quickly walked toward the bank manager who had been shot. "Bring me the first aid kit!" She shouted urgently.
One of the bank officers immediately brought it over. Yu Qi carefully examined the wound. Fortunately, it was not life-threatening. Perhaps due to poor aim, the bullet had passed through his thigh.
"Don't worry. You will be fine." Yu Qi reassured him softly while cleaning and bandaging the wound with steady hands.
Soon, the police and medical team arrived. Yu Qi explained the man's condition clearly to the medic.
"Yu Qi." Feng Yue called out after seeing that she had finished.
"Were you scared?" Yu Qi asked gently, taking Feng Yue's hand.
"Yes… But I was even more scared when I saw you take action. And that gun… how did you know how to shoot?" Feng Yue asked, still shaken.
"It was just a coincidence. I picked up the gun and aimed randomly. I didn't expect to hit his wrist." Yu Qi replied calmly, hiding the truth.
"Really?" A man joined their conversation
It was the same man who had helped her earlier.
"Yes…" Yu Qi answered steadily.
The man was extremely handsome, with striking hazel eyes. He observed Yu Qi closely. Instantly, Yu Qi became alert.
'This man is dangerous.' Yu Qi thought. She could feel it instinctively.
"Oh, Yu Qi, let me introduce you. This is my maternal cousin, Long Hui. Brother Hui, this is my friend, Yu Qi." Feng Yue said as she introduced them.
