Tang Qin Hao was a doctor. He was a surgeon. And he had absolutely no desire to abandon the operating theatre for a corporate lab.
Angelica Lee, however, was clearly a woman entirely unwilling to give up so easily. Since Tang Qin Hao was not interested in becoming a full-time corporate researcher, she immediately pivoted and proposed a highly lucrative alternative. She offered him the prestigious position of Head of Department at one of the flagship hospitals under her company's extensive global management.
In her mind, it was an extremely attractive, almost un-rejectable offer. After all, such a high-profile position came with immense global prestige, administrative authority, medical influence, and a long list of elite privileges. Very few doctors in the world would willingly turn down an opportunity of that calibre.
However, to Angelica Lee's growing frustration and disbelief, Tang Qin Hao rejected the grand offer once again without the slightest hint of hesitation.
