He learn about history, advanced Match, Science, Physic, Biology, Languange, Programming, Electronica, Robotica, and many more. He and Bulma even learn about Magecraft from Shirou and Rin. Because both Bulma and Goku have a decent talent in learning a Magecraft.
Goku thirst for knowledge was the side effect of the treatment that Shirou do to him. Using the future Gadget from Doraemon world. The current Goku are no longer a naive idiot who cannot distinguished between good and evil. His common sense is good, and now with great logical thinking. Goku are transforming from a village idiot country bumpkin into individual with great intellegent.
Of course Goku also did not forget to train his body, the current him maybe love reading and doing a research more than eating and fighting. But he was still a Saiyan who was a warrior races. So training his body even when his time are full because of research and reading by using the Gravity ring that made his body twenty times heavier than normal.
Bulma who also doing a training like Goku are not using the Gravity Ring. Because even though Bulma have a desire to become stronger and stronger caused by her Saiyan Blood. She can surpress that urges, because she was originally a human. So she only doing a normal training routine that she usually always do even before she become a Saiyan.

Garlic Jr the little turquoise alien, are trying his best to collect the Dragon Ball. But sadly because of the new rules implemented by kami. Garlic Jr cannot found the Dragon Ball at all, because Dragon Ball no longer cannot be used by evil guys.
