"Mum..." Si Tang whispered, her voice trembling uncontrollably.
Si Tang's mother slowly opened her eyes. They were clear now, no longer clouded by illness. She looked at Si Tang and smiled gently.
"Tang'er, why are you crying?" Si Tang's mother asked softly.
Si Tang collapsed to her knees beside the bed, sobbing with overwhelming relief. Her shoulders shook as tears streamed down her face. She then turned to Bai Xifeng, clutching her sleeve tightly, yet still unable to find the right words to express her deep gratitude.
Bai Xifeng understood Si Tang's feelings at that moment. She remained silent and waited patiently until Si Tang calmed down before giving her next instruction.
"Your mother will be hungry when she fully wakes up. Feed her some light broth. Avoid heavy meat for a week. Her stomach is not ready for a feast just yet." Bai Xifeng explained calmly.
"Thank you. I will never forget this debt." Si Tang said, her voice choked with emotion.
