Most of the students were extremely, desperately curious about the sudden, aggressive lockdown. A large crowd of students immediately approached their respective teachers, repeatedly and frantically asking about what had transpired over the last forty-eight hours. However, the teachers either vaguely avoided the topic with practised excuses or simply refused to answer their questions directly.
Several teachers merely told the suspicious students that a highly volatile, high-profile guest had unexpectedly arrived at the school, and the faculty had been deeply worried that a student might accidentally offend the distinguished visitor. That was supposedly the official reason why everyone had been strictly ordered to remain locked inside their rooms.
However, many of the savvier students did not believe that cheap explanation for a single second.
