"What are you here for?" I ask gritting my teeth with a smile on my face as I tried to act like what they just said did not affect me.
"Oh yes. I was wondering if you have seen Jasper?" she asks as she sneers over my outfit again.
"Prince Jasper to you." Jasper replies as he comes to my side. "Why were you looking for me?"
"Since when do I have to be so formal towards you?" Chloe asks with a pout. Which just made me cringe on the inside. She truly has no shame.
"Since I took everything from your husband and will take from you." he replied which made me smile at the expression on her face. She looked as if she had been slapped. No one ever told her anything close to what he just told her.
"Fine. Prince Jasper have you seen my husband, Edward? Do you know where he is?" she asks now annoyed. She crossed her arms as if she was the one to deliver the former comment.
"Hopefully in the depths of hell where he belongs." I mumble under my breath where only Jasper and I can hear making him laugh a little but he covers it up with a smile. My sisters eyes snap to me as I try to cover up my giggle. I instantly stop and tense up.
"No I do not. I am not his keeper. That is your job now. Anything else I can do for you?" Jasper replies as one of his hands rests on my back in a reassuring touch.
"Yes. I want to negotiate some of the gifts that have been given to me by Catherien and Edward that are very dear to me. Maybe over lunch?" Chloe asks with a slight seductive tone making the smile on Jasper's face fall. I could see that her actions clearly pissed him off by the hard look set on his beautifully sculpted face.
"No." he states as the grip on my back tightens as he fists my leggings in his hand, which was the only show of anger coming from him, besides his stone cold face.
"But why not?" Annan and Chloe whine at the same time.
Annon took the lead as she asked with a step towards Jasper. "Do you not want to spend some time with us?" She finished the question by running a finger down the center of his chest. But he quickly brushes her hand off of him; making Annon step back to her sisters side as if his action didn't affect her at all.
Jasper turns to Annan and addresses her first. "You are merely a child with bad behavior. I will not be taking requests from you. I do not appreciate you touching me. So if you wish to keep your hand, do not touch me."
That made Annan shrink into Chloe's side as she whined, "I am nineteen. I am no child."
"Well your behavior states otherwise." he replied. Next he turned to Chloe. "I will make no exception to the rules for you or anyone for that matter. Now regarding lunch, you best remember that you are married. Now I must go. I have plans with Melianna and a friend of mine."
Jasper turned me and lead me away with his friend by his side. His hand remaining on my back. We stopped walking as Chloe decided to yell at us in a fit.
"So you will not let me have a single necklace but yet you are willing to let that whore accompany you to an event where you divest my husband. You even let her wear a queen's crown to that event. I can see the queen's sword attached to her hip that is strictly given to the woman who are to ascend the throne to become queen. It is not for a whore of a princess who is a disgrace to her family. It is meant for me a true queen." Chloe shouted.
