The person sighed as they spoke.

Jason pressed on.
"Because that city is a 'vessel', constantly absorbing people into it, then having them invade various worlds, serving as its nutrients to continue growing—did you think its growth was without reason?"
"And to grow better, it pits those who enter it against each other, establishing so-called role models, stirring human hearts."
"Humans?"
"Always so complicated."
"Easily deceived."
"Those role models are chased by others, and to catch up faster, the pursuers continue to enter various worlds."
"They never rest."
"Rapidly growing."
"Some have even become beings like 'gods' in ordinary people's perception."
"And what do you think happened as a result?"
The person asked Jason while winking at him.
With a rather not-so-clever look.
"They got eaten."
Jason replied.
The person was stunned, scratching their head again.
They were ready to give Jason a hint.
