Jasmine Yale, like a curious child, leaned on the window, constantly looking out.
The bamboo leaves were lush and green, shining with a bright glow under the light.
The wind was loud, and such a night sky was both silent and wonderful.
Just then, Jasmine Yale saw tiny glows flickering, dancing, and leaping deep in the bamboo forest!
Those little elves seemed tirelessly flying back and forth.
They're fireflies!
Jasmine Yale was both surprised and unexpected, her eyes shimmering with joy.
She reached out and shook Sylvan Cheney's arm: "There are fireflies, let's turn off the car lights."
"That's why I brought you here to see." Sylvan Cheney opened his eyes, his gaze moving to her face, "At this time, there aren't many fireflies yet. After a while, you'll see them flying all over the sky."
Jasmine Yale paused for a moment, then smiled: "Did you bring me here just to see this?"
"What do you think?"
Jasmine Yale's face was beaming with a smile, her heart pounding.
