Sylvan Cheney didn't respond, just squinted his eyes and leaned closer, looking at her face.
He cupped her face with one hand, "Jasmine... you like me, don't you?"
"What's gotten into you." Jasmine Yale swatted his hand away and sat upright.
"Did you enjoy the movie? If you liked it, I'll invite you to watch another one next time."
"It was okay," Jasmine said, "The male lead is quite like you."
"Oh? In what way?"
"His personality, I guess. The male lead plays the piano really well too."
Sylvan Cheney chuckled, "But I'm not that great."
"Yeah, you have some self-awareness, you're a scoundrel, a pure scoundrel."
"Here we go again." Sylvan Cheney looked at her seriously, "A little what? Hmm? Explain it clearly."
As he spoke, he tickled her.
