During those few days, Jasmine Yale got along well with Mrs. Connor and Mrs. Kimberley, and they would share good things with each other.
Jasmine Yale prepared a lot of things for Little Clementine, and she would share them with the others.
Mrs. Connor noticed that the clothes Jasmine bought were very expensive and couldn't help but comment, "Mrs. Yale, the things you buy for the baby are really nice, but you know, kids grow up fast, so you don't need to buy too much or too well."
"I didn't understand that before, I just thought I should buy the best for the baby," Jasmine Yale replied with a smile.
Those expensive things weren't bought by her; they were bought by someone else.
Mrs. Connor was already packing, "I'm being discharged tomorrow, Mrs. Yale, you should rest a bit more in the hospital. You can visit my house when you have the time."
"Sure."
Jasmine Yale didn't say much, she actually knew that chance encounters might mean no opportunities to meet again once parted.
