Gryffindor was, as always, the loudest but the other three tables were not quiet either. The quietest was naturally the Slytherin table as many of them where at least minorly informed about this matter. Perks of the having whole fists in the ministries pie. Nothing that went through the ministry slipped past these people, especially something that stood out like this. Most of the uproar came from almost none of my fellow students knowing that a student exchange was even an option before now. As I had predicted since long before now.-
Ignoring all this I rose from the bench at the Ravenclaw table under the stares of everyone else and walked to the podium next to Dumbledore.
"I trust you know how the ceremony works?" he asked with those eyes of his twinkling fiercely.
"I do. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised who is being exchanged with me either." I said with a nod.
He raised an intrigued eyebrow "Oh? You recognize her?" he asked with interest.
"Indeed. I threatened her at the French Gringotts bank during my visit there over christmas break. A small matter in truth but it was that innate magic of hers. It stirred my irritation." I explained.
"Ah, the Veela charm. Yes I do suppose with that soul magic of yours that would be rather provocative." he said with an amused smile.
With that said he led the way to the floor before the podium where Madam Maxim strolled over in her feathered coat and fleur Delacour walked beside her tensely.
"Dumbledore. It haz been zome time." Madam Maxim said in english with a heavy french accent.
"That it has Olympia. As always it is a pleasure to see you." The old goat said with a smile as he lightly kissed her knuckles.
"Nifty work around that ring of yours. One of Nicolas's works isn't it?" I asked Fleur in french.
"How did you know?" she asked surprised.
"I see with more than eyes. I noticed the foreign energy in the ring before I even entered this hall. I spent some time learning from Nicolas over the summer so I recognize his style at a glance. It's a clever workaround for the trouble that innate magic of yours poses. But it'll fail in time. I'd say right around thirteen months roughly." I say casually as I appraised the ring.
"Correct entirely. Monsieur Flammel crafted it to facilitate my exchange." Fleur said with an impressed look.
"Makes sense. You are a tad over dressed however. Allow me to fix that." I say before tapping her shoulder with my wand and transfiguring her light blue Beauxbatons uniform into a standard if slightly more luxurious Hogwarts robe.
"Thank you. I was feeling rather out of place." she admitted.
"That's quite alright. A bit of friendly advice to remember is that the red ones are brash and playful, the blue are smart but competitive, the yellow are warm but average. The green are schemers but not all bad despite what the other houses might say." I said helpfully.
Dumbledore chuckled hearing this "Indeed, that is an apt set of descriptions. I do believe that we should move this along so we might eat yes?" he said and fleur and I swapped places with her next to him and I next to Madam Maxim.
With a shrug my robes changed into a perfect replica of the Beauxbatons male uniform. Effectively a three piece suit of light blue that sat on my form like a sharp edge. While I was wearing robes my fit and powerful body was muted, dulled by the flow of the loose cloth. The Beauxbatons male uniform was almost stiff by comparison so the difference in presence it provided was staggering.-
My biological age might only be twelve but my body had been tempered through my devil fruit and the one piece physique I've had for right at a year now. That didn't even mention the potions I have consumed to push my body into insanely strong shape. Beneath the loose robes I normally wore my body was a sculpture of growing musculature with strength that would let me shatter boulders with a punch.-
Madam Maxim wasn't surprised by this change since she'd seen me in one of the uniforms before but the same was not true for Dumbledore or anyone else here. The shift in presence was as loud as thunder right next to the ear for them.
"How wonderful. A side effect of those two artifacts I assume?" Dumbledore asked with his eyes practically blazing from how intense the twinkle was.
"Among other things." I said with a shrug that strained the fabric of the uniform against my frame.
After that there was a mini sorting ceremony for Fleur to determine which house she fit in best and to no surprise at all she landed in Ravenclaw. The feast was begun with us sitting at the table with the menu for night being French themed in honor of the exchange. Despite my new uniform everyone was far more interested in fleur than me. Not that they could be blamed. For all but the first years I was a, mostly, known quantity. She was entirely new though, a foreigner from afar that everyone was interested in. Some intellectually but an unfortunate amount because she was, objectively, very pretty.
