The Bright City Lord loathes the Guardian God to the core. Before he became the City Lord, he had killed several Guardian Gods who ventured into the Land of Chaos.
However, as the number of people around him increased and he established Bright City, he no longer dared to do such things.
When he didn't have the title of Bright City Lord, killing Guardian Gods was merely a personal act. At most, it would invite retaliation from the Guardian Gods, who would avenge those he killed.
But now, as the Bright City Lord, if he were to kill the Guardian Gods again, it wouldn't be a personal action. Doing so and angering the Guardian Gods would lead to the death of not only him but everyone in Bright City.
