Summer Ford's hand holding the breakfast stiffened slightly, feeling the warmth in her palm. She looked up and pulled at the corners of her mouth towards him, "Thank you."
Aiden Lennox furrowed his brows, turned his head, and looked at her. He spoke expressionlessly, "I don't like those two words."
Summer Ford felt a bit dazed, her gaze stiffly shifted away, saying nothing.
"Let's go, board the plane!" Aiden Lennox walked ahead, leading her towards the boarding area.
They had booked their tickets together, and their seats were right next to each other.
Summer Ford hadn't really slept at all last night. Once seated, she asked the flight attendant for a thin blanket and curled up by the window and fell asleep.
