There was a natural allure about her, and whenever she appeared, Caleb Sterling's gaze would involuntarily drift towards her.
His eyes lingered on her a little too long.
Cici seemed to notice, lifted her head, and stared at him in surprise, "Master, what's the matter?"
"Nothing." Caleb Sterling nonchalantly shifted his gaze, sipping lightly from the cup of wine she had poured.
"Is the wine to your satisfaction, sir?" Remembering his words from before, Cici couldn't help but ask.
Caleb Sterling responded with only a distant "Hmm."
He personally purchased it; how could it not cater to his taste?
"If there's nothing else, I'll be going!" Cici collected the tray, stood up straight, and walked away.
Caleb Sterling's gaze followed her silhouette, and just as she was about to step off the deck, he suddenly called out to her, "Wait!"
Cici halted her steps, looking at him with some astonishment, "Is there something else, sir?"
