"There are two main reasons why they dare challenge the Abyss Demon Clan. First, we set the precedent for challenging the Peak Clans, and have survived so far. This dramatically reduces the fear other clans have towards the three Peak Clans. Second, the resentment that various clans have against the Peak Clans has been accumulating for a long time, and their numbers now far exceed those of the Abyss Demon Clan."
