Taiyi...
Even in legend, where the sun's domain is included among divine duties, some believe the two to be one and the same. In reality, however, the difference between the Eastern Monarch and Taiyi is like that between the Cabinet Premier and the Emperor.
One, although seemingly glorious, is in essence just a high-ranking worker.
The other is the true ruler of all things and phenomena.
As the supreme deity of the Dongxia region in times past, this deity was one of the few formidable gods in the entire world. Indeed, many Scholars, after observations and deductions, came to believe that this god never actually existed, positing it was merely a fictional creation in response to the Sun God Eastern Monarch.
Otherwise, why would there not be a trace of divine nature left to this day?
Unfortunately, the demise and disappearance of the gods remains an unsolved mystery to this day, all the more so for Taiyi, who vanished thousands of years ago.
