"It exploded?" he said incredulously.
"Yes," the base superintendent said mournfully, "it exploded."
"What about your restaurant?" Huai Shi anxiously asked, "The one famous for its lunar pancakes?"
"Gone." The base superintendent's expression became increasingly sorrowful. "All the chefs are dead."
Huai Shi was furious.
