After watching their walking tank of a man get thrown back to the nearest building along with Gremlin, the rest of the group was dumbstruck for a second never thinking such a outcome could come true.
Snapping out of his confusion first, Wrack smiled wide under his black mask and took off like a bullet at the demon still with his hand stretched out and looking at the damage he caused.
Appearing like a ghost under the outstretched body of the demon, he grabbed its arm and threw him over his shoulder, caving in the broken stones making up the road. Followed up by a quick stomp to his face with his right foot before leaping back with the momentum, with a hail of over twenty knives raining down onto its body.
Waiting to see what damage he has caused, Wrack looked on as the demon slowly got back up with little effort and the knives still connected to various positions of the demons body. Though the rest of its cloth shirt was ripped apart with the force behind them, they were not digging into its normal looking body, but only making contact with it like they were just sitting over top of it with no force applied at all.
"Interesting" Wrack thought as small strands of lightning came from around him making contact with the floating knives causing them to rotate at high speeds and continue to slash and pierce the demon at every angle, to no avail.
Watching as nothing their leader can do hurt the demon, the rest of the group formed a formation around the foe watching it be stabbed over and over with nothing but a calm look in its eye and waving its hand to try and catch the annoying knives hitting it.
Jumping up on a roof Alibaster fired shots from his sniper creating a blue streak in the air nailing the demon in different parts of his body, still causing no noticeable harm.
Charging in from one side, Owen came upon the demons flank like he teleported there. Then with but a blink, seven separate strokes of his sword came down on the monsters ribs causing lingering flashes of red to rest in the air in front of him.
With but a swift turn of the monsters upper body its hand that was swatting at the knives pecking at him slammed into Owen side, and with a loud grunt, he was sent tumbling plenty of feet away.
Seeing that any attempt at harming this demon was useless, Ignis took some distance before changing into a monstrous rhino monster twice the size of a normal one and twice the number of legs. With a massive horn that more resembled that of a unicorn than a standard rhino, he began to charge.
Moving as fast as he could and with all the force he can muster in his form, he was sure he could spear through this foul creature, but once his hit landed right in the creatures back, it was lifted up and took into another house just to the right of the one James and Gremlin was thrown into.
Breaking through the house like it was paper and bringing his catch with him, he threw his head downward trying to pin the creature between him and the ground. Once it hit the ground it was then carried along digging a long groove in the paved stoned kicking up mounds of dirt.
Coming to a stop in an alleyway and pulling back from the monster stuck in the ground, he watched as the only wound on the creatures was a hole the size of quarter and going no deeper than 3 inches in the right side of its back.
Once it got up and felt that it was actually hurt, the demon started to panic, even if it took a great deal to do so, it still was injured.
Seeing the panic on its grim face, Ignis yelled out loud for all to hear "It is trying to run, we have to stop it." before quickly turning into a humanoid crocodile monster with jagged scales and sharp claws and swinging on its form.
Appearing on both sides of the alley was James and Gremlin, James was back in front rushing at the monster determined to repay in kind the damage he suffered. Right before him and his shield slammed into it a chain came from behind and rapped the the demons neck up forcing him to stand his ground, lest pulled off his feet from the sudden force.
Grabbing onto the chain and pulling hard, Gremlin was sucked forward coming into range of the demon before getting slammed into the ground hard, making another hole in the ground. After turning the chain wielder into a pancake, it tried to take the chain off before realizing she was still fine and pulling him down along with her.
Before it could make any more moves it was hit hard by a human sized cannonball and sent flying back through the house he was rammed through previously with Gremlin still holding on. Landing back in the fountain square the demon landed like a ragdoll and slid while Gremlin was able to land on her feet. Using her forward momentum she pulled the chain hard, slinging it over her shoulder with all her force picking the demon up and slamming him down onto the ornate fountain in the middle sending stone and water everywhere.
A bit battered and worse for where, the demon still stood up with but a few visible scratches and bruises on its body. Still looking to run away the demon was turning its head every which way it could find some opening to get through.
"what is this monster? I have never seen anything take so much punishment that was not a demon lord of an S-Rank world." said Ignis in astonishment while circling back around the demon.
"I have no clue but i do have an idea, just throw him high on my mark kid." Wrack said while waiting on everyone to get back into a suitable position.
