I lifted my head and stared blankly at the scene outside the window.
Everything seemed normal, as if nothing had happened.
But I was sure I had just seen something amiss, even though it was just for a moment. Something definitely flashed by... It's hard to describe what it was like. If I had to say, it was a bit like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. The landscape outside the window became fragmented, the light twisted and tangled, details blurred, as if viewing through a piece of glass with uneven patterns.
The glass window outside had just turned into such a strange appearance... If this were happening on a spaceship, one could say it's due to an optical distortion caused by ongoing Super Space-Time Jumping. But now, sitting in a tea room on Earth, I can only suspect that I might be experiencing an illusion—could it be that recently, I've been overworked, even my body is about to suffer from a nervous breakdown?
