Seeing that the arrivals were Shi Yu and Shen Cheng, Shi Mei stood up.

Shi Yu hummed in acknowledgment, turning his head to glance at the red light above the emergency room's door, "When did they bring her in?"

The tone of self-blame was low and hoarse.
Shi Yu nodded, then took big strides to the entrance of the emergency room, gazing at the tightly closed door, his eyebrows deeply furrowed.
Leaning against the wall, he slightly lifted his head, weakly closed his eyes, and the hand in his trouser pocket couldn't help but clench into a fist.
Shen Cheng first glanced at him, then turned her gaze to Shi Mei, "How could this have happened?"
