The person in his arms did not respond, blood continuously gushing from her injured area. Her hands, clothes, even the car were all covered with blood.
"Su Jiuyi! Don't sleep!"
Shi Aoju tried to wake her by patting her face, attempting to keep her from drifting off, but Su Jiuyi had lost all consciousness. She quietly leaned in his arms, unable to hear his calls.
Shi Aoju had never felt so uneasy; everything around him seemed to turn pitch-black, placing him in an environment where he couldn't see his fingers, unable to find an exit or direction.
Shi Aoju dared not move because he knew Su Jiuyi was seriously injured. He feared that one action on his part might worsen her injuries, pushing her to the brink of death.
"Su Jiuyi." He called her name while taking out his phone to dial Doctor Chen's number.
