Nina has been anxious about whether something has happened to Harry. It had been almost a week since. However, Harry never contacted her again.
Harry promised her that he would make an international call after his birthday dinner party. Nina anticipated that call; however, as night and day passed, she did not hear from Harry again.
She had already called the hospital where Mely stayed, but the nurses who answered the telephone said Mely had been discharged. Hence, Nina was worried and confused at the same time.
So, Nina makes an overseas call to Li Mansion.
"Papa, have you seen Harry? The hospital told me that Mama Mely had already gone home. But Harry never contacted me yet."
