Ji Xinxin's uniquely radiant face slowly tinged with sadness. She parted her red lips but did not answer the question, merely uttering slowly,

As Ji Xinxin still needed to continue filming, Ling Chuxia couldn't occupy more of her time. They agreed to meet again another day and then she left the villa.
No sooner had she stepped out of the villa than her phone beeped. She took it out of her purse and glanced at it; it was a reply from Shi Che on WeChat.
"Where are you?"
Ling Chuxia's lips curled up as she replied, "I'm in the suburbs, came to see Xinxin. Are you done with your work?"
"Not yet, but I miss you."
Ling Chuxia's smile deepened. She checked the time—it was almost lunchtime. She rolled her dark eyes and then replied: "Mr. S, do you need takeout?"
"Yes."
His reply was simple and straightforward.
