The three did not knew where the noises came from, because they came from everywhere. But the biggest problem was not being surrounded, the problem was that Sabrina and David were in a weak state.
After the breakthrough, a lot of Mana is consumed for the sake to strength the body and to widen the Mana Core, so the knights and magician would be very vulnerable after a breakthrough.
"Noah, what should we do? I think these are too many beasts for us to handle with. I have maximal 20 percent of my strength right now."
Noah was thinking extremely fast, a lot of ideas came to his mind, but were directly rejected. It was easy to handle with this situation before, but now they only he could fight and the other two were useless for now.
"Calm down, let's hope these are only normal animals, if not then we should run away as fast as we can."
Both nodded and began to wait and analyze every possible escape.
Then suddenly a fox with two tiles attacked them from behind. But there was Sabrina and warned them. Noah directly formed a fire ball and burned the fox to death. But then foxes began to jump to their direction without warning.
"Holy shit, where they came from? In five days, we didn't see any of them and now suddenly they appeared in group."
David was already in his limit; he swings his sword a few times and that was his limit in his condition.
Then Noah shout and began to run away.
"Run! Quickly, in my direction. I freed this way."
Then the three began to run away in the same direction. Because they reacted fast, the foxes did not realize what happened for a few moments, but then they began to pursue after them.
A hundred meters away, there are a group of people laughing at Noahs group. They all had dirty and stinky clothes on and looked very disgusting. If you compared them to animals, the animals are even more clean and organized.
"Hahaha, it was a good idea to bring those foxes here. It is our opportunity to capture a fresh 2nd Star knight and it is even a woman. Boss will reward us heavily."
"Yes, yes, Boss will be very happy."
"Come let us go! We have to capture her while they are running away."
Then the group began to run in direction of Noahs group, but they were very knowledge with the way, and they reached them quickly. But Noah and the others did not notice them. Because Sabrina was behind the two, they had not eye contact with her and they run away only.
Suddenly Sabrina felt how a hand grabbed her and then she had something in her mouth. Before she could realize what was happening, she saw how Noah and David were far away from her position. It was like they did not notice that she was not running behind them anymore. Then she began to feel dizzy and then she lost consciousness.
Back to Noah and David they were feeling strange for a time, then Noah decided to top to see why he was feeling like that. David stopped too, but then they realized something.
"Where is Sabrina?"
"I wanted to ask you."
David was the first who began to run back, he was preoccupied about his sister. He could not let something bad to happen to her.
"SABRINA, WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Noah began to run back too, he felt culpable to not notice that she disappeared. And he searched in every direction, but there was no clue from her.
"Sabrina isn't the type pf person who would disappear without saying anything. Something must have happened to her."
"Yes, we have to find her at any cost."
The search endured for the whole night and the whole morning. But nothing, it was like she was swallowed by earth. They could not find nothing.
"Noah, what should we do? I do not know. It is my fault, she was directly behind me, but I did not notice that she disappeared. I am such a bad brother. What if she is injured and is dying?"
David was already crying, he who never cried before, even if his parents beat him for doing something wrong or when someone hurt him or something else, was crying like a little boy desperate to find his sister.
Noah could feel how David feels, but he also was desperate, and he did not know what to do.
"Let us return to the village and see if something like this happened before, I am sure we can find clues. If we search here without information, it will be only worser."
"What if she is in the near and we can find her wight now, but we go to the village."
"You know that this is not possible, we searched for the whole night and morning but there was nothing that signal us what happened. This is not natural; I am sure something or someone is behind her disappearance."
David thought for a moment and then he agrees.
"But we have to be quickly, replenish your Mana and strength to the top, so we can move faster."
Both replenished mana to the top and now was David a true 2nd Star knight. Then both left the forest quickly.
Back in the village the atmosphere was not good either, they looked sad and desperate too. It was to see that something bad happens which hit everyone.
"David, my intuition tells me that this atmosphere has something to do with the disappearance of Sabrina. Let us see what happened."
David nodded and both entered the village.
