( Yuuki's POV )
Lisanna and her sister used the same magic, and when Mirajane said she was going to transform, I was expecting something cute and sexy like when Lisanna transformed into a cat girl, I think most of those present were expecting something similar, but Mirajane didn't want to be so predictable.
As her act began, Mirajane placed her hands on her cheeks and her head transformed into that of a blue cat.
Mirajane: I'm Happy aye!.. now I'm Gajeel.
Elfman: ..Onee-chan, why?
Mirajane changed from a cat to the head of one of her guildmates, and everyone was disappointed by Mirajane's act, even her brothers, but she was happy with what she did, I, on the other hand, found it hilarious.
I started laughing loudly enough for everyone to notice, and Laura took even more notes. I really hope she doesn't get any ideas about doing anything strange.
The commentator quickly moved on to the rest of the contestants and after a couple of interesting acts, it was the turn of the other girl I came to see, Lucy.
Commentator: The next contestant is Fairy Tail's rising star, Lucy Ha-
Lucy: Stop, don't say another word.
Lucy was against them announcing her last name, that was a little weird but the show went on as if nothing had happened.
Lucy: Hi, I'm going to do a cheerleading routine with my spirits.
Lucy announced her act and she began throwing her arms in the air, but seconds after she started, a voice sounded across the stage.
???: The next contestant is...
Lucy: No, I haven't shown my appeal yet.
The one who had spoken was a woman who had no authority over the contest but certainly acted as if she did.
A woman with light brown hair appeared on stage; she was wearing an elegant green dress, the Fairy Tail symbol was visible on her cleavage and Lucy must have thought she was another contestant because she complained about her casually, but I could sense hostility coming from her.
I heard "Evergreen" several times in the crowd, so that was probably the girl's name.
Lucy: Hey, I'm not finished yet. You have to wait your turn.
Evergreen: humph There's no need for that. I am the Fairy Queen, and I am undoubtedly the winner.
Lucy: Hey, don't interfere. This is important to me.
' Lucy, don't look her in the eyes! '
A man next to us, who for some reason wasn't wearing a shirt, shouted a warning to Lucy.
Lucy was simply confused by what they told her, and when the woman in the green dress lowered her glasses with a dangerous expression I moved in front of Lucy before everyone could react.
Evergreen: Who? How are you unharmed?
Yuuki: Something had to happen.
Evergreen: You should have turned to stone!
Yuuki: Sorry, doll, I'm resistant to petrification, ah Lucy, could you take three steps to the side?
Lucy: Uh, okay.
Lucy followed my random instruction and then a bolt of lightning struck the stage out of nowhere, I took a step back and then threw a fist.
When the lightning disappeared, my fist was colliding with another that belonged to a blond-haired guy with a scar running across his eye.
???: tch You're fast; but it doesn't matter, one less won't make a difference.
Yuuki: One less of what?
Upon hearing my question, the blond man gave a smug smile and the stage curtains opened, revealing all the previous contestants turned to stone and placed in a line, It seems Lucy was going to be that Evergreen girl's last victim.
???: Laxus! What do you think you're doing?
An old man in the audience shouted upon seeing the actions of these two guild members. Lisanna introduced me to that person earlier; his name was Makarov, and he was the guild master, he must have been furious about this conflict between guild members.
Laxus: Calm down, old man. These girls will be my guarantee.
Makarov: What are you planning now, Laxus?
Laxus: Fairy Tail is nothing but a joke, making a fool of itself on every mission and even letting enemies join in. It's time to fix that, and see who's the strongest.
Two other presences appeared on the second floor of the guild; these were two men who seemed to be on Laxus's side.
Evergreen: If you want these girls to return to normal, you'll have to defeat us.
*Bang*
Natsu: That sounds good to me, easy and simple to understand.
Natsu slammed his hand against a chair and seemed more than happy with those conditions, he walked towards the stage ready to fight.
Laxus: I always have that fiery attitude of yours, but I have to say, I don't hate it.
'Natsu, no, don't you remember the last time you faced Laxus.'
Natsu: I was just a brat back then.
' That was a year ago! '
Some members of his guild weren't very confident that Natsu could defeat Laxus, and indeed, as soon as Natsu jumped to attack, he was knocked out by a single lightning bolt that Laxus summoned.
There was a moment of silence after Natsu was defeated, and then Laxus proceeded to give some further explanation of his unexpected event.
Laxus: You will have three hours, all of you against the four of us, but first you will have to find us, the last man standing will be the winner.
Makarov: Laxus, you, STOP WITH THE NONSENSE!
The guild master could no longer tolerate Laxus's actions and activated his magic, which I suppose was some kind of body expansion because the little old man grew to the size of a giant, but before he could do anything, Laxus blinded the entire guild with a golden light.
Laxus: I already told you to take it easy, old man. This is a festival! Let the Fairy Tail battle begin!
The light disappeared, and with it, Laxus and his three followers.
Yuuki: Well, that's a poorly planned tournament, it needs some fixing; hey you announcer, do your job.
The Fairy Tail wizards gave me strange looks because of how calm I was, and Lisanna spoke up to support me.
Lisanna: Please listen to Yuuki, he must have a plan.
