NEOMA finally had lunch with her (immediate) family: Nero, Mama Boss, and Papa Boss.
Since they were talking about something important, all their knights were sent outside.
To make sure no one was eavesdropping, she even placed a soundproof barrier around the dining hall.
"So, the two of you decided to act like children of divorced parents and decided which parent to take with you," Mama Boss said, laughing softly as if she found Neoma and Nero's plan cute. "Why did you choose me, Nero?"
"Because Mother is the Nature's daughter," Nero explained. "We're expecting the Ancient Devil to release the Black Ocean as rain. If that happens, it's going to be a disaster. And I believe only Nature can help us stop that from erasing our empire from the map."
"That's assuming that Nature will help us," Mama Boss said worriedly. "What if Nature refuses to help? What if Nature cannot help us at all?"
