(Location: Grand Line)
(General POV)
They sailed for around two days from Alabasta in the direction of Jaya. Since Skypiea wasn't made of earth, it didn't have its own magnetic pull, therefore there was no Eternal Log Pose Jack could buy to get them there, which he found slightly aggravating because he knew the log pose could lock onto the part of Jaya that had been blasted up there. Still, he didn't fret about it, simply because he knew it was just south of Jaya island, therefore if he found Jaya, he would be able to find the Sky islands.
"No, do it like this." Jack told Robin as he helped her focus on her Haki. It had been about two weeks since she had joined them, and Jack had to say, she was a natural when it came to understanding the Haki manuals, and out of everyone he trained, she needed the least amount of guidance, though that didn't stop him from giving it. She was better with Armament Haki than she was with Observation Haki, but Jack felt she would get up there in no time, especially under his tutelage, and after learning Haki was how a normal person was able to harm someone like Aokiji, she was a very devoted student.
"Hey, there are some ships down there." Smoker called out, pointing downward off the portside of the ship. "What the-? They're monkeys!" Luke shouted in surprise after looking down through a spyglass. Hearing that, Jack suspected he knew exactly who it was. They were the monkey brothers who salvaged shipwrecks in search of the city of gold with Mont Blanc Cricket. Jack had honestly forgotten about them, but now that he remembered, he wondered if he should do anything about it.
He liked Cricket, and despite how stupid and annoying the monkey brothers were, he liked them too. Most One Piece fans liked them, hell, they liked most of Luffy's acquaintances that weren't written off to be the bad guys, but that didn't stop them from being any less annoying. 'Come to think of it, Luffy was one of the most annoying ones of them all.' Jack realized, yet he still liked Luffy and he especially liked Zoro.
Zoro was cool, and if they hadn't nerfed him with being directionally challenged, he would be far more overpowered than he was written. For the most part he was running around until near the end of an arc, then he would fight the second in command of whatever group they were against, and boom, he would win. Oda had to give him a major flaw like that, otherwise he would have been the main character.
Anyway, back to Mont Blanc Cricket and the monkey brothers, Jack made a decision in the spur of the moment to invite them along for the trip, even if they didn't want to. He could always have Radek bring them back once they were done, so it's not like he would be losing out on anything. Rather than go right down to where the monkey brothers were salvaging a ship, they continued on for another five minutes to Jaya, but instead of going to Mock Town, Jack directed them to the far side of the island to where Mont Blanc Cricket lived. The old guy was shocked to say the least when a giant ship descended from the sky, but he didn't freak out about it, which showed just how accustomed he was to seeing the unbelievable.
"If we're going to be waiting for those monkey brothers to get here, then I'm going to go into town." Luke said calmly, then before anyone could stop him, he began jumping through the sky towards town. "You guys are certainly weird, I'll give you that." Cricket said after seeing Luke running through the sky. "I've seen what qualifies as 'normal', so I'll take that as a compliment." Jack said, not at all insulted by the old man's words.
"What can I help you with?" Cricket asked curiously after Jack introduced everyone to him. "It's not what you can do for me, it's what I can do for you. You're Mont Blanc Cricket, a descendant of Mont Blanc Nolan, the famous explorer who found the city of gold, right?" Jack said, getting a frown from Cricket. "I am his descendant, but I've yet to find any real proof about the city of gold." Cricket admitted.
Ignoring Cricket, Jack meandered over to the bookcase where Mont Blanc Nolan's Log Book was placed. He couldn't remember what it said, but he knew there was something in it towards the end that could be helpful. It was on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't remember what. He was flipping to the back of the book when Cricket spoke, "The Skull's right eye. That's where I saw the gold. Those words smeared with tears are the last ones Nolan wrote in his Log Book. I still don't know what he meant by that. Does it refer to a city or some landmark that used to exist on this island? Or is it a poetic allusion to his impending death?"
Cricket seemed confused by that, however Jack wasn't. Going into his [STORE], he purchased two maps, one of Jaya now, and one of Jaya four-hundred years ago. "I know exactly what he meant." Jack said, then held up the current map of Jaya, then one from four-hundred years ago. The current map looked like two jagged islands joined together by a thin landmass, however the old map from four-hundred years ago showed that Jaya was shaped like a skull.

(Image of Second Map)
"If you look here in what appears to be the right eye of a skull, you see the city of gold." Jack said as he showed Cricket the map, causing the cigarette in his mouth to fall to the floor. "Impossible…" Cricket whispered in shocked awe as he gently took the map from Jack, afraid that it would disintegrate at the slightest touch. "It's not impossible. In fact, it's very much real. Most of Jaya back then didn't sink into the ocean like everyone believes, it was actually shot up into the sky, and is now part of the sky islands. If you want, you can come with us." Jack offered, surprising the man once more. "All this time, and I've been looking down when I should have been looking up." Cricket said with a laugh.
Before Cricket could answer, Kureha decided to rain on his parade. "If nut-head wants to go to an island up in the clouds, then it won't be today. He's a deep-sea diver, and a foolish one at that. I can already tell he hasn't been giving his body enough rest in between dives to off-gas the excess nitrogen he's accumulated from diving, so if he went up to the sky islands where the atmospheric pressure is completely different, it'll kill him. Normally I would say twenty-four hours would be more than enough time to off-gas a regular person, but I'd make him wait at least two days before he goes anywhere, least of all to the sky islands." Kureha said, giving her expert opinion on the matter. How she could tell Cricket's body was full of nitrogen, Jack couldn't say, but then again, he wasn't the medical expert.
"You all don't mind waiting another day or two before the sky islands, right?" Jack asked the others, and no one seemed put off by the idea. On the contrary, this gave them time to go and explore the town, which Jack reminded them was a lawless town filled with pirates. "Luke is there, so I'm sure we'll be fine." Nami said before she dragged Nojiko, Robin, and Tashigi off to go shopping. "I don't know why they took Tashigi, she's a big dull dud when it comes to shopping for anything other than swords." Smoker commented from his seat on deck.
Not long after the girls left, the two monkey brothers arrived back at Cricket's place, at which point he showed them the old map of Jaya, and told them that they were invited to go flying with Jack up to the Sky Islands. The two monkey brothers were thrilled at the prospect of going to the sky islands, and they knew Jack could take them because they had seen his flying ship pass them by earlier. That was actually why they rushed back here so fast.
"These two idiots aren't any better, same with everyone on their crew. They're all morons." Kureha said, then went on to verbally chastise each person for how stupid and reckless they were with their bodies, and then ordered that they stay out of the water for the next two days.
It wasn't until later in the evening before Luke and the girls returned, and the girls were all putting a bit of distance between themselves and Luke, all save for Robin. "What's up?" Jack asked Nojiko. "He took over the town. And I don't mean to say he just beat up all of the pirates, he literally owns it now." Nojiko told him in a whisper, almost as if she were scared Luke would hear her. "How?" He asked, also in a whisper as he looked over at Luke, who seemed rather unconcerned about the whole thing.
"I don't know. That's the scary part. We were only separated for an hour or two, and the next thing we know, everyone is calling him 'Sir' and rushing to do as he said. The pirates were even acting like model citizens and offered to carry our stuff." Nojiko said in what sounded like an aggravated whisper. Jack was going to ask Luke about the whole thing, but then decided he didn't really care all that much. "As long as you all had fun." Jack told her, then dismissed the matter altogether.
"Hey, I don't know if the girls told you, but we're going to have to hang out here for a few days so these guys don't get sick from the atmospheric pressure from up there." Jack said to Luke as he pointed upwards. "Why? We can just leave them here and then have Radek open a gate for them in two days." Luke said, bringing up an idea that Jack hadn't quite considered. "You know, that's not a bad idea. You guys wouldn't mind that, right?" Jack asked Cricket and the monkey brothers.
"Suits me. We're grounded here for two days, so it's not like there's a whole lot for you guys to do." Cricket said, having already talked to Jack and had seen Radek open a gate back to the East Blue a few hours ago after he took some pictures of his house, so he knew about the gates. With that decided, and it being close to nightfall, they decided they would set out first thing in the morning.
*****
The next day, just like they had planned, the Pearl flew to the southern end of the island before it began to go straight up. They continued their assent for what felt like forever until they finally saw a sea of white. "Okay, this is officially beyond weird. It makes no sense. I know you told me this was going to be how it was, but I thought you were just pulling my leg or something." Nami said in disbelief as the Pearl set down on the illogical sea.
"I told you, logic and reasoning don't belong on the Grand Line. There are countless mysteries that science can't explain, and this is just one of them. Believe it or not, an ocean in the sky will sound completely normal compared to some of the other things you're going to see out there." Jack told his navigator, who was still struggling to believe everything she had seen so far. On top of the fact that the weather changed periodically every other hour, monsters that were always trying to kill them, and now what was basically a whole other world up in the sky, Nami was struggling to come to grips with it all.
"Why are we stopping here?" Luke asked curiously when it looked like they weren't intending to continue onward. "Since you clearly didn't learn anything from nut-head and those two idiot monkeys, allow me to explain it in a way you can understand. Our bodies need time to adapt to the atmospheric pressure of this altitude, otherwise we're going to feel sluggish, have difficulty with breathing, chest pains, dizziness, and if it's really bad, the nitrogen in our bodies could form bubbles in our bloodstream and we could all die. I don't know about you, but I have no intention of dying anytime soon." Kureha explained to Luke, though actually everyone took a bit of information from it.
Doing like the good doctor instructed, they waited there for a full day before they continued on at a rather leisurely pace until they came across a large gateway that had "HEAVEN'S GATE" written above it. Looking at the gateway and then at the size of the Pearl, Jack realized that there was no way it was fitting through there. Thankfully they had a way to circumvent the whole thing. "Hey, look. There's someone there, and she has wings!" Tashigi cried out in shock as she stared at the short old woman who appeared form a doorway by the gate, and she was taking pictures of them.
"I am Amazon, the 'Heaven's Gate' inspector. State your business. Sightseeing, warmongering, etc?" The old woman said, getting straight to the point. "All the above." Luke said, earning himself a shout from Nami, though all she did was yell at him. She didn't dare try and hit Luke for the simple fact that he scared the daylights out of her. "What? It's true. Besides, they're probably going to be happy when we're done. Remember, Jack said this guy was playing at being a god." Luke told her, and she knew that he was right, but he didn't have to go around telling them that.
"It makes little difference, but if you wish to proceed, you must pay the entrance fee of 1 billion Extol per person. That is the law." Amazon answered back, not caring for their reason for being here. "WHAT?! That's robbery, you old hag!" Nami shouted, not sounding too happy about paying such a steep price. Before the conversation could delve any further, Jack tossed a bag with $1.3 million berries in it towards the woman.
"I forgot to mention, one berry is ten-thousand extol, so with a conversion rate like that, for the ten of us, plus Cricket and the two monkeys, it should only be $1.3 million berries." Jack told the others. "What about their crew members?" Smoker asked, realizing that they probably weren't going to come alone. "That's not our problem. They should be glad I'm even paying for them." Jack said, not concerned in the least over the whole matter. Hell, the only reason he paid was because it was the same rate for everyone, and despite having planned to kill their god, he was somewhat of a law abiding citizen.
The old woman picked up the bag with all of the money and began to count it, then actually gave them a proper smile. "Have a pleasant journey into Skypiea." She said, and it was only then that she realized that there was no way for their ship to go through the gate. Seeing her expression, Jack waved her off before Nojiko made the Pearl rise into the air and flew over the gate and up the waterway. When they finally reached the top, they saw a sign that read, "GODLAND SKYPIEA", which only got a shake of the head from Luke.
"This joker really does have a god-complex. I call dibs on him." He said even as he cracked his neck. "Actually, you're going to be dealing with all of them. I want to make sure you're ready for what comes after." Jack said, and Luke knew what he meant. If he couldn't handle a bunch of weaklings like these people, then he sure as hell wasn't ready for a Devil Fruit.
"What about us?" Smoker asked curiously. He didn't want to sit around and be a tagalong, he wanted to help. "Luke can handle the guy with the god-complex and his priests. As for you, there is a group called the White Berets. They're the military that police Skypiea. They, like everyone else, are forced to serve this fake-god. I have no doubt they'll try to step in and fight alongside him, so maybe disable them and keep them out of the fight. Unlike the other people who will be fighting, these ones actually have families here in Skypiea. I think so anyway." Jack said, getting a nod from Smoker.
"Hold on a minute. Isn't anyone even the slightest bit curious how Jack knows as much as he does? He knew about Shiki, Vivi, Wapol, Doctor Kureha, Crocodile, Baroque Works, Robin, Cricket, Skypiea, the Extol, and he knows all about this guy with a god-complex, not to mention everything else he says is happening out in the world, and no one is even questioning a thing!" Nami cried out, bringing up a really good point.
"I'd kind of like to know the answer to that myself." Robin said, agreeing with Nami. Almost as one, everyone else turned to look pointedly at Jack, who was slightly caught off-guard by the whole thing. He had sort of become used to everyone just accepting whatever he said that he never thought about the consequences of knowing those things, and he had no idea how to explain it either. He couldn't say it had anything to do with his Devil Fruit because down the road when he knew next to nothing about what was happening, they would expect him to know and he wouldn't be able to help them.
Before Jack could come up with an excuse, Nojiko stepped beside him and grabbed his hand before looking at Nami and the others. "It doesn't matter how he knows what he knows, it just matters if his intel is right, and so far he's never let us down. Until he gives you a reason to mistrust him, then it's not your concern." She told them, and surprisingly that seemed to be enough for them. "Sounds about right." Luke said with a shrug of his shoulders. "What he said." Smoker agreed.
"Thanks." Jack whispered to Nojiko as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze. He hadn't expected her to step in to defend him, but he was glad for it. After that, everyone seemed to go about and do their own thing until they got to Angel Beach, which they knew from a sign that was hanging near a stairway that led into a town. Ignoring the beautiful scenery around them, Luke asked, "So where is this god-guy supposed to be, and how do I find him?" "I'm not entirely sure, but it shouldn't be too hard to find." Jack said, then spread out his Haki, focusing on one direction instead of all around him. It took a few tries, but eventually he did find it. "That way." He said, pointing out where they needed to go.
"What are we supposed to do?" Nami asked curiously as Luke, Smoker and Jack moved to leave them. "Go shopping or explore, I don't care." Jack said simply. He didn't need them for this, nor did he suspect that they would want to be there for it. Nami liked to steal, that was true, and Nojiko liked being around Nami. Kureha and Chopper were doctors, and Radek didn't enjoy hurting people. Tashigi probably could have helped, but again, she wasn't one for slaughtering people, and that was what they were going to be doing, and Robin didn't sign up for killing, hell, she didn't even sign up to fight, not that Jack had asked her to.
Sure he trained all of them how to fight, but that was more so that they could defend themselves in the future and not be so reliant on him, but he would never force them to fight in a situation where they didn't want to, and he knew none of them wanted to, hence the reasoning to have Luke do this alone. Plus he did really want to gauge his abilities.
With that, the three of them set off for the Upper Yard of Skypiea.

(Location: Skypiea)
(Luke Strauss POV)
Making his way into the Upper Yard with Smoker and Jack, Luke didn't even register when Jack disappeared, only he was there one second and gone the next. "Oh well, at least he gave us this." Luke said as looked at a piece of paper with a number of targets. There was the god-guy, his four priests, and fifty enforcer guys. "You know, I'm not going to fight him on it, but I'd actually like to know how Jack got all of this information." Smoker said, but Luke simply shrugged him off. "If he wanted to tell us, he would have. Anyway, let's go." Luke said, dismissing the need to know more about Jack.
The two of them moved through the forest for a time until Luke sensed movement through the forest with his Haki near some weird-looking shrine. Stepping out into the opening, they saw a tall man with blonde hair with giant earlobes laying down on a giant throne. "About time you got here! I was getting bored, so I thought I'd throw a festival, and you two are the entertainment!" The blonde man declared pompously.
At his words, four people who looked just like the paper Jack gave them described them to be rushed towards them. These were his four high priests and most loyal followers, but to Luke they were mere obstacles blocking his way to something greater. Smoker just stood there and watched as Luke swept through the four, moving so quickly and efficiently that it gave Smoker chills just watching him. Luke was already well above what a Vice-Admiral of the Marines could handle, and Smoker couldn't help but imagine how much stronger he would be with a Devil Fruit, a powerful Logia Fruit at that.
Two of the four priests lost their heads while the other two were bisected down the middle from brains to balls. Tossing one of his swords into the air, Luke drew his pistol and shot a big fat guy and a bunch of his underlings before he holstered his pistol and caught his sword before it ever touched the ground. They were part of the enforcers, and Luke saw no need to prolong his time dealing with them.
Off to the side of the shrine, a group of men wearing blue and white dotted pants who were wearing berets began to make a commotion, and Smoker realized who they were from the description of them. "Hold it! You stay right there!" He shouted at them, then began to fill the air around them with so much smoke that they were forced to their knees. He wasn't going to kill them, but he wasn't going to go easy on them either.
As for Luke, he cleared out what was left of the enforcers in a matter of minutes so all that remained was the guy with the god-complex and a number of slaves who were now cowering in fear behind pillars and anything else they thought that might save them. "I must admit, I'm quite impressed, but you have no idea what you're up against. You don't stand a chance against me. You cannot even begin to comprehend the extent of my powers and what I'm truly capable of." The blonde guy said mockingly as if he didn't have a care in the world.
Loading the magazine with Sea-Stone rounds into his pistol, Luke took aim and fired a shot, hitting the blonde guy right between the eyes. The bullet exited the back of the guy's head, as did more than half of his brain and skull-tissue, and thus was the end of God Enel. "What a puny god." Luke said, almost as if her disappointed at how anticlimactic the fight had been.
*Clap!*
*Clap!*
*Clap!*
"Well done. I'll admit, I was expecting something a little more gruesome and hands on, but either way, you didn't disappoint." Jack said, applauding the butchery of Enel and his followers, for it could be nothing else. He had been recording the entire event with a Video Transponder Snail, and already he knew what he was going to do with it, only that could wait for now.
"So, what now?" Luke asked curiously as he surveyed the cowering slaves and the soldiers Smoker had rendered unconscious. "We just need to wait for the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to appear, then we can head back to town and give the people the good news." Jack said as he gestured towards the crates of fruit that he had placed near the shrine without anyone realizing.
While they waited, Luke told the slaves to go back to their families, then he pretty much just stood there and watched as Jack turned the corpses to ash. The soldiers who had seen most of what happened were dumbfounded at the events that took place. Even though they had seen it with their own eyes, they were struggling to believe that one man butchered God Enel and all of his followers. "You losers go back to your city and tell everyone about what happened here, and I better not hear that any of you abuse your power over the people here, otherwise you'll all be next." Luke warned the soldiers before he sent them off after the slaves.
Luke, Jack, and Smoker all waited around for a little over five minutes before Jack walked over to the crates of fruit and pulled out what looked to be a blue apple with the familiar spiral pattern typical of a Devil Fruit, then he tossed it over to Luke, who simply stared at it for a few minutes. He knew that by eating this fruit he would become a whole lot stronger, and that's exactly what he needed if he was to succeed in this world. The weak were mere pawns for the strong, and he had already made up his mind not to be anyone's pawn. Steeling himself, Luke bit half of the fruit down in one bite. He ignored the foul taste that he was expecting, and instead focused on the new feeling that swelled up from deep within him.
It was like a dam burst open, and currents of energy were rising up, so much so that it was practically gushing forth, then came the voices. Luke would periodically use his Observation Haki, and he hadn't realized that combining it with the power of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, he was able to read electric waves from the air, even across great distances it seemed, giving him a radar-like sense of everything happening around him on a massive scale. From here he could hear all of the slaves talking to each other, and he could even hear Nami and Nojiko talking back on Skypiea.
It actually took him a few minutes to realize what was happening, and by turning off his Haki he was able to silence the voices. 'That's going to take some getting used to.' He thought to himself. "Did you guys know people release electric waves from their bodies? Because I sure as fuck didn't." Luke said with a frown, then he explained what just happened to him. "That's unexpected." Smoker said, feeling as though that alone was already a broken ability, and yet Luke was merely scratching the surface.
"Come on. There are actually more people this way." Luke said, having sensed a large number of people working nearby on a gigantic ship.
*****
(General POV)
It didn't take the three of them very long before they got to where the slaves were, and that was when Jack saw the Arc Maxim, a ship made mostly of gold, though it was still largely unfinished, which was fair. Jack had come here well before Luffy and the others were set to arrive in cannon, so seeing it unfinished was okay with him. That didn't stop him from making it disappear inside of his [Inventory]. This ship alone was worth billions upon billions, and would set any other group up for life, but to Jack, this was but another step towards the future.
Next, they went to the city of Shandora, which by now was already stripped of all of its gold, however Jack knew there was still more here. Seeing the giant snake, he remembered how there were about three-hundred million berries worth of gold inside of it, and he wasn't about to let something like it being inside of a giant snake deter him from getting it. Unleashing a burst of Haki on the thing, he knocked it unconscious before he entered its mouth, an action which seemed to stun both Luke and Smoker.
"What are you doing?" Luke asked curiously even as he moved to follow Jack inside of the creature's mouth. "Taking out the god-guy and getting you your Devil Fruit might have been the main reason for coming here, but I'm not going to pass up gold when the opportunity presents itself." Jack said simply, and it was only then that Luke and Smoker saw what Jack was talking about. It appeared as though the giant snake had eaten buildings and whatever was inside of those buildings was now inside of it.
Not wanting to sort through all of the rubble, Jack merely stored everything inside of his [Inventory], which just so happened to help the snake out in the process. Now it wouldn't have so much stone and metals weighing it down, and it should now be much quicker than before, and maybe it would feel better too. "Shouldn't we just kill this thing?" Smoker asked once they got outside of it. "Why? It didn't do anything." Luke said in defense of the snake, clearly against killing it. "I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides, we're still not done here." Jack said as he looked at a giant beanstalk like the one from the fairytale with the kid who sold the cow for magic beans, only he knew he wouldn't be finding a golden goose or a harp up this one.
The three of them jumped their way up to the top, which is where they found the giant golden bell. "I'm pretty sure this is the one Cricket told us about." Smoker said as he went near it, and it was only then that he saw the Poneglyph. "I take it you're going to let Robin read this one too?" He asked knowingly. "It's not the one she's searching for, but I'll still let her read it." Jack said, revealing that he knew far more than he ever let on, still, no one asked him a thing. They knew that if he wanted to tell them, he would.
Walking over to the giant bell, Jack pulled one side of it up before he let it drop, and a second later a chime sounded across all of Skypiea, only it was unlike any other bell-chime that Jack had ever heard. It was almost musical, and gave him a rather warm feeling. "What was that about?" Smoker asked him, but Jack simply shrugged his shoulders. He had simply been curious about it for himself and had run it on a whim. After that he stored the Great Belfry inside of his [Inventory], then the three of them went back down to the city before slowly making their way through the forest and towards the edge of the island, but by the time they got there, they seemed to have drawn quite the audience.
All of the Shandorians were gathered on a fleet of ships, and there at the edge of the island were also all of the soldiers and slaves they had sent on ahead. It appeared the slaves had revealed to the Shandorians that Enel was dead, and the ringing of their bell a short while before only confirmed it to them.
Jack told them they could all go back to their city, and that he would return the following day to fill them in on what happened, and that he would reveal to them where their Great Belfry was, then he helped all of the Skypieans get back to Angel Island, at which point they revealed to the rest of the people that Enel was dead, however Jack didn't seem to care about that. On the contrary, he was more focused on the new island that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, and most stressing of all, he recognized that island.
"Alright, what did you do?" Jack asked Nojiko. When she didn't answer, he turned to the other culprit that had to have been a part of the whole thing, only Radek didn't even bother to wait for him to question him, he simply began to reveal everything that had transpired. "She made me open a gate to that empty island we sent the animals to when we were in Merville, you know, the one you said you trained on. Anyway, they made the island rise from the sea, then she made me make a gate big enough to bring it through because she said we didn't need it, and that these people could use it to grow stuff." Radek explained quickly.
"Tattletale." Nojiko said to him before she gave Jack a winning smile. "Look, it's not as bad as it seems. Besides, they said we could have whatever we wanted for it, and they agreed to let us start a branch of The Order here. Everyone wins." She said happily. "You should have taken Sixis. It's smaller, and it's further aways from HQ, so no one would have missed it." Jack said, realizing that this was bound to happen sooner or later so there was no point in getting mad about it.
Things were rather lively in town for the next few hours as people reunited with their families after being apart for years, then Gan Fall showed up and was reinstated as the leader, only he didn't go by the title of "God" anymore. After how Enel abused it, he realized it wasn't fitting, but thankfully Nami helped him out by telling him that down in the Blue Sea, those who governed over islands or towns were called "Mayor", a title which Gan Fall took to rather quickly.
It wasn't until later that evening after Jack had extended an invitation to the Shandorians to show up, that he played the video he had recorded earlier, which showed Luke killing Enel and his followers. It was a rather popular film, and many of the Skypieans recorded it for themselves with Vision-Dials to play later for entertainment.
When night officially fell and the people of Angel Island were all sleeping, Jack did something he hadn't actually intended to do, but he knew with his absence, this place might go back to being what it was before Enel showed up, and that wasn't much better than it was now. The Skypieans and the Shandorians were enemies who fought over the earth and soil from Upper Yard, but after seeing how Nojiko relocated an island, he felt like it wouldn't matter if she did it again, thus he had Nojiko move Upper Yard so it was right beside Angel Island and the new island Nojiko had brought.
Come the morning, everyone saw the new change and began freaking out, which is when Jack told them that it was his doing. It took a long explanation about how they would all need to work together to defend this land from those who would try to take it for themselves, and that if they didn't, they might as well kill each other now because that was what was going to happen. It definitely wouldn't happen overnight, but by midday he could already see a semblance of what could be a thriving community in the making.
"Where's the golden bell?" The chief of the Shandorians asked Jack after he seemed to have gotten them all settled. In response to this, Jack made his way to the top of largest building in the city of Shandora, which was a little weird-looking, then he made The Great Belfry appear with the golden bell, which caused not just the Shandorians, but the Skypieans as well to cry out in joy.
It was right about that time that Radek opened the gate for Cricket and the monkey brothers and their crews to step through, and the first thing they saw was the golden bell being rung. Needless to say, but Cricket broke down in tears at finally seeing that the city of gold had been real, only what was left of it was the golden bell. Jack revealed to him that the gold from the city got stripped already, and that this was it, but it was enough for him. The Shandorians went a little nuts when they found out that he was Mont Blanc Nolan's descendant and welcomed him like a dear friend, and he in turn did the same to them. He felt as if the stain on his family was wiped clean now, and no matter what happened, he would be happy.
As for Jack, he showed Robin the Poneglyph and the writing near the bell which was written there twenty years prior by Gold Roger. She seemed happy to read it, regardless of the fact that it wasn't the one she was looking for, and she made the Shandorians happy when she told them that they no longer had to guard the stone, for whatever reason, Jack had forgotten, because to him it just wasn't that important. He knew the Poneglyph talked about another of the Ancient Weapons, Poseidon, which just so happened to be a mermaid who didn't know how to use her powers, so it really didn't matter.
They stayed in Skypiea for close to a month, but that was mostly so Jack could help Luke train with his Devil Fruit, though the training was so intense, Radek had to teleport them back to Sixis in the East Blue. By the time they decided to leave, all of them had acquired as much stuff as they could want from the Sky Islands, and now it was time to set out on the next part of their journey.
"So where are we off to next?" Robin asked curiously after they had set out from Angel Island. "To Water-7. I want to pay a visit to CP-9." Jack said with a grin, already planning the number of different ways that he could deal with them.
