In the Great Void, just outside the F974 Universe, the two parts of Soza's body could be seen. Soza didn't look to be in pain, though. Instead, he was fuming in anger. There were two reasons for his anger, not only one.
The first, obviously, was how he was taken by surprise by Roan's weird skill that managed to pull Rean from his battle out of nowhere. That caused his own Crystal Void Half Moon Blade to be broken by Roan's Scythe, effectively cutting him down.
Rean was right about one thing. Soza had the means to save himself if Roan truly tried to kill him at that moment. Yet, that's exactly the thing that makes Soza the angriest. When Roan came to finish the job, Soza noticed that Roan wasn't truly coming for the kill. How old is Soza? How much experience does he have?
