Rean was now having Araujo work on the seventh type of rune, once again, different from any of the previous six. Rean's range of training was very broad and painful. Each type of rune required a different set of skills, especially if you made them without any equipment. The way you manipulated the energy outside your body changed in very complex ways.
Thus, Araujo failed with each rune many, many times. As a result, Rean jabbed at him just as many. There was a point when Araujo was forced to stop because his body was more black than white. Rean truly hit him that many times and in so many places.
After giving a healing pill to Araujo and waiting for his body to recover, the tortu- training resumed.
